From the top of Alpe Tognola the cool, crystal clear air of the morning greets us.
Mask down, and we are ready to inaugurate the first descent on run One, offering one of the most exciting tracks of "Carosello delle Malghe" (Dairy-hut Carousel). Before we go up again a stop at Malga Frattazza, open also in the evening, is a must; here we enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast with homemade sweets.
Back to Alpe Tognola along the Carousel tracks winding their way from Cima Tognola to Ces, we follow the beautiful Cristiania run, and once at the bottom we find the comfortable and brand new Malga Val Cigolera, which invites us to a tasty stop.
We climb again, reaching Punta Ces, from where we can appreciate one of the most breathtaking views of the Carousel. Between a red and a black run there is no shortage of refreshment points: a must is Chalet Malga Ces, where we indulge in a delicious snack.
When sunset is approaching we go up again to Alpe Tognola, where a tempting cheese and local honey tasting, together Trentino wines, is waiting for us: a romantic toast on the terrace while the Pale turn pink before we tackle the last run on our way back to the valley.
