An icon of “heroic viticulture”: Trentino’s highest winery operates in Valle di Cembra, offering sustainable wines that celebrate the region’s characteristics
Founded in 1952 by a group of winegrowers, the Cantina now boasts around 400 members who engage in “heroic viticulture” on the valley’s distinctive and challenging terraces. Known as “Trentino’s highest winery” thanks to its altitude of 700 metres asl, it is firmly committed to safeguarding the environment and the land that it cultivates. Visits to the winery are free for CARD holders. After your tour of the facility, you’ll have the chance to sip a glass of the renowned Müller Thurgau or a special “mountain wine” that symbolises this wonderful Valley, known for its iconic, vine-covered terraced hillsides.
