Agritur Cantina Simoni
A meal in the barrels to taste mountain wine paired with traditional dishes
The Agritur Cantina Simoni was born in the historic centre of Palù di Giovo at 650 metres above sea level, in the heart of the Cembra Valley on the slopes of the Avisane hills. The Trentino winery started in 1918 at the behest of Grandfather Giuseppe who passed on his passion for three generations.
The wines produced are the result of the vineyards cultivated for the most part in the municipality of Giovo, where a calcareous soil helps to enhance the mineral notes, especially in still white wines.
The cuisine is traditional Trentino and features the most representative dishes of local cuisine such as potato cakes combined with local cold cuts, canederli in butter or broth and strangolapreti.
The wood environment revisited in a modern key, with reference to the objects of wine production such as the Trentino pergola and the barrels for the maturation of the wine will make the visitor descend into the agricultural atmosphere while maintaining a profile of elegance and refinement.
