Malga Castrin is located in the heart of the Maddalene mountain range and, together with the Malga di Cloz and Malga di Revò, is part of a beautiful trekking ring suitable for everyone. The structure is located at an altitude of 1,814 meters and consists of two separate areas: the first serves as a stable and dairy, the second as a restaurant and guest rooms. It is impossible not to take advantage of the typical cuisine of this hut, the specialties are many and really delicious, all expertly homemade: cold cuts, polenta, strangolapreti, cheeses and desserts. At the hut you can buy the products of the dairy: cheeses and butter that have the typical yellow colour of the milk of cows that have eaten while grazing.
