It will be possible to participate in the "Sorasass" Trek every Thursday from December to March 2025.
The mountain of Sorasass is an ideal place for an excursion within everyone's reach, andcan be easily reached by urban public transport in the municipality of Trento. The route offers many ideas of climatic, naturalistic and historical interest. It falls into a reality of "transition" between the pre-alpine and alpine areas, marking the precise boundary of the "Mediterranean" currents coming from Lake Garda.
A spectacular glimpse of the Adige Valley and surrounding valleys, the Sorasass is an excellent hook-up point to develop further topics, such as urbanization or the morphology of the valleys. Finally, the complex system of fortifications erected by the soldiers of the imperial army with the help of the local population is historical testimony to the dramatic period of the Great War.

- Short route description: Located just above the city of Trento, the Sorasass tour will take us to discover the remains of the Austro-Hungarian fortifications of the First World War, thus opening an important page on the history of our city. The Sorasass is also a naturalistic place of great interest, a climatic boundary between "Mediterranean" currents and the Alpine climate. Breathtaking views of the city of Trento and the surrounding mountains.
