Party in the square for Val di Fassa Running
A special evening to celebrate the winners of the second stage of the Val di Fassa Running: in the square, there will be an awards ceremony for the athletes and a performance by the Canazei Folk Group
After the exertions of the second stage, the Val di Fassa Running concludes in the square in Canazei, where athletes, fans and curious onlookers gather to share a moment of celebration. On stage, it's time for the official awards ceremony: the winners are greeted by the applause of the crowd and the lively atmosphere of the town centre. Next, the spotlight turns to tradition with a performance by the Canazei Folk Group, which brings Ladin identity to life through dance, historical costumes and folk music. The show opens with the seven-coloured Ladin flag, symbol of cultural unity in the Dolomites, and continues with group and couple dances handed down from generation to generation. Founded in 1974, the group is one of the pillars of Fassa culture: a bridge between past and present that recounts the truest soul of the valley with authenticity and pride.
At 9 p.m. in the main square. In case of bad weather, the awards ceremony will take place at the "Marmolada" Cinema Theatre.
