Oktoberfest 10th and 11th October
A whole Bavarian-style weekend: music, fun and folklore!
A whole weekend to enjoy the typical atmosphere of Bavarian festivals with traditional costume parade and cannon shots...but that's not all! Music and beer (of course!) lovers can dance to the rhythm of the music played by our guest bands!
PROGRAM
Saturday 10th Oct.
2 pm: Biergarten opening
7 pm: Big tent opening (reservation is necessary*)
9 pm: Concert of the Austrian band “Die Lauser”
Sunday 11th Oct.
Predazzo awakes to the sound of Alphorn, the typical Swiss, 13 ft long trumpets, and of cannon shots, a show performed by the group "Noi nella storia di Piné". Then you can taste the typical Bavarian breakfast and see the famous folkloristic and historical parade going through Predazzo's streets.
Among our guests there will be 6 music bands wearing costumes and more than 30 folklore groups made up of more than 700 people. Just to mention some of them: Caciadori, Schuhplatter, Compagnie Schützen, the horses Haflinger and Noriker and the group travelling on a waggon and showing old occupations.
The parade will end at the big tent at the sport centre, where you can savour a typical Bavarian lunch while getting delighted by the bands' concert and the show of "Die Lauser".
Detailed program:
7 am : Wake up call with Alphorn
9 am : Bavarian breakfast (Predazzo square)
11 am: historical parade through the streets
12:30: Arrival at the big tent and authorities' greetings
1 pm: Lunch at the big tent
2:30 pm: Concert by “Die Lauser”
7 pm: Big tent closing
*Reservation
Reservation is necessary. Entry without reservation will depend on the number of free tables during the festival. You can reserve a table on Sept 5th from 8 pm at Saletta Marcialonga (Taverna Aragosta's location). Address: via Fiamme Gialle, Predazzo.
From 6th Sept on you can reserve a table per email to: info@oktoberfestpredazzo.it
On Sunday entry is free but reservation is recommended.
