Winter Forest Bathing
Experiencing the forest in winter with all our senses
Forest bathing allows us to become more aware of the silence and stillness that make the forest so special at this time of year.
During the activity, a series of practical and dynamic exercises are proposed to encourage us to connect with the forest and its elements — not only through the main senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell) but also by engaging our authentic sensations, creating a resonance space between the silence of the forest and our own inner silence.
The forest is a state of awareness in which every desire flows effortlessly toward its fulfilment.
Scientific studies show that immersion in nature can: reduce stress hormone levels in the body; strengthen the immune system; regulate blood pressure and heart rate; and lower cortisol levels.
In winter, when cold plays an important role, there are additional health benefits: cold stimulates the brain, improves sleep, increases endorphins, supports microcirculation, and benefits breathing.
This activity can be described as an adventure of deep connection with the living organism of the forest, in a dimension of slowness, respect, and silence.
