FIS Junior Baltic Cup
On 18 and 20 March, the junior version of the Baltic Cup, valid for the Latvian Under-21 National Championships, is staged at the "Aloch" Ski Stadium
At the "Aloch" Ski Stadium in Pozza, training venue of the Italian national team and of foreign teams, there is great expectation for the FIS Junior Baltic Cup. After the success of the past editions, the junior Baltic Republics ski championship is back again this winter in Val di Fassa with the young skiers involved in two days of FIS competitions, valid as national men's and women's under-21 titles. On 18th March, the "Aloch" slope is reserved to the giant slalom, while on Wednesday 20th March the athletes will be engaged in the special slalom.
The specialists in the technical disciplines, coming from about forty nations, will have to show off their skills and technical preparation on the difficult black slope in Pozza, which, due to its altitude difference (220 metres) and slope gradient (average 27%, maximum 49%), is once again the ideal theatre for international level competitions.
