Carousel Christmas market in Cimego

The magic of Christmas is back among the houses of Quartinago di Cimego. Starting on Saturday 29 November and for three consecutive weekends, the streets of this ancient village in the Valle del Chiese will in fact be filled with music, lights, colours and also the typical flavours of the local cuisine.

PROGRAMME:

The market is open from 10.00am to 6.00pm

SATURDAY 29 NOVEMBER
From 10.00am to 6.00pm: Demonstrations of woodworking and wood carving with the masters of La Büsier: the Praso Woodworking School.
At 11.00am: Opening ceremony of the Cimego Christmas Market.
From 11.00am to 12.00pm: Guided tour of the Marascalchi House Museum and the church of Sant'Antonio organised by the La Fusina Association (to participate in the tour, meet at the museum entrance 10 minutes before the start of the tour) and Cooperativa Incontra.
From 11.30am to 1.30pm: Concert by the group Music Soft Duo with Alan Grassi (keyboard) and Riccardo Orsi (drums).
From 2.00pm to 4.00pm: Workshop ‘My first wood sculpture’ for adults and children aged 8 and over, organised by La Büsier: the Praso Wood School.
From 2.30pm to 5.30pm: Tarot readings at the Covo delle Streghe with Lady Morgana.
From 3.30pm to 4.30pm: Readings for children by Barbara Candioli.
From 4.30pm to 5.30pm: Concert by the Coro Sette Torri choir from Storo.

SUNDAY 30 NOVEMBER
From 10.00am to 6.00pm: Woodworking and wood carving demonstrations with the masters of La Büsier: the Praso Woodworking School

From 10.00am to 16.00pm: Ironworking demonstration with master blacksmith.
From 11.00 to 2.00pm: Concert of Christmas and traditional music by artist Stefano Bordiga with trumpet, trombone and accordion.
From 11.00am to 12.00pm: Guided tour of the Marascalchi House Museum and the small church of Sant'Antonio by the La Fusina Association (to participate in the tour, meet at the museum entrance 10 minutes before the start of the tour) and Cooperativa Incontra.
From 2.00pm to 6.00pm: Workshops and activities for children organised by the Italian Red Cross - Valle del Chiese Group.
From 3.00pm to 4.00pm: Readings for children by Barbara Candioli.
From 3.30pm to 5.00pm: Concert by the Folk Group of the Cimego Social Band.

SUNDAY 7 DECEMBER
From 10.30am to 12.00pm: “Create your own basket” workshop for adults and children aged 6 and over, organised by Antonino Bertini.
From 11.00am to 14.00pm: Celtic music concert by the group Pevar Soner.
From 2.30pm to 3.30pm: Children's readings by Barbara Candioli.
From 2.30pm to 5.30pm: Tarot readings at the Covo delle Streghe with Lady Morgana.
From 3.00pm to 5.00pm: Concert by the group Larix Acoustic with acoustic guitars and vocals.
From 4.00pm to 5.00pm: Delivery of letters to Santa Claus... directly in his beautiful living room!
From 4.00pm to 5.30pm: Painting workshop for children aged 6 to 12 by Efrem Bertini.

MONDAY 8 DECEMBER
From 11.00am to 2:00pm: Concert by the brass band Le Maitinade.
From 2.00pm to 6.00pm: Workshops and activities for children organised by the Italian Red Cross - Valle del Chiese Group.
From 2.00pm to 6.00pm: Practical demonstrations of paediatric life-saving techniques organised by the Italian Red Cross - Valle del Chiese Group.
From 3.00pm to 5.00pm: Musical entertainment by singer Rosanna Tomasi.
From 3.30pm to 4.30pm: Children's readings by Barbara Candioli.

SATURDAY 13 DECEMBER
From 10.00am to 6.00pm: A journey through the history of the Great War in Valle del Chiese, organised by the Great War Museum in Bersone (Valdaone).
From 10.30am to 12.30pm: Musical entertainment by the group I fiati di Stenico.
From 10.30am to 12.00pm: ‘Create your own basket’ workshop for adults and children aged 6 and over, organised by Antonino Bertini.
From 11.00am to 12.00pm: Guided tour of the Marascalchi House Museum and the church of Sant'Antonio organised by the La Fusina Association (to participate in the tour, meet at the museum entrance 10 minutes before the start of the tour) and Cooperativa Incontra.
From 2.30pm to 4.30pm: Concert by the En Plein Choeur Choir of the Giudicarie Music School.
