Roadbike - Lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo with Colle di Tenna variant
Simple route that allows you to admire the beautiful landscapes of the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo, passing through the history of Castel Pergine and the apple orchards of Colle di Tenna
<p>The route is partly on cycle paths and partly on secondary roads: for the first stretch you cycle on the SP228, which overlooks Lake Levico from above, then you reach below the hill where Castel Pergine stands. Once you reach the town of Pergine, follow the signs for Susà and after passing underpass SS 47, follow a small road leading to Canale, then continue on the cycle path along Lake Caldonazzo to return, passing through the apple orchards, to the starting point.</p> <p>For a more fun route, you can opt for the variant on Colle di Tenna: just after the start, follow the signs to the left for Tenna and climb to the top of the hill. The variant continues between the apple fields and the pine forest of Alberé, crosses the hamlet of Ischia di Pergine, and reconnects to the original route at the foot of Castel Pergine.</p> <p> </p>
