Pozza - Soraga - Pociace - Pozza

Tour that climbs the western wooded side of "Valacia", until reaching the panoramic plateau of "Pociace", with its distinctive bivouac.

From the centre of Pozza, follow the cycling and walking route southwards. At the entrance of Soraga, behind Hotel La Molinella, take the forest road on your right, which immediately climbs steeply in the woods. At the junction, keep to the left (by going right you’d filter in the sensory/nature trail, at the end of which you’d reconnect with the road above). Past "Fontana" area, you’ll come across path no. 639. Ascend alternating dense woods with wide clearings that offer panoramic windows on the valley. A long climb leads to "Pian dei Pantofoi", where trail sign no. 616 pops out; follow it up to the junction to "Pere Bience de Sora". At the hairpin bend, southernmost point of the route, ignore the right-hand fork (Moena > Bait dal vent > Pesmeda). Now the route reverses direction and points northwards: following the dirt road headed upstream, pass a gully. With undemanding gradients, cover the last climbs, before descending within sight of the plateau "Pociace", where the bivouac of the same name is located. Get back in the saddle and follow trail sign n. 636/A in the woods. Proceed on the forest road up to "Sot Ciastel" area. A little further on, take the path on your right (steep in some sections) to reconnect with the forest road that descends towards Malga/Masc Aloch huts. Just above the farmhouse, turn right and take the route that cuts horizontally through Aloch ski slope, until arriving at "Vidor" area. Return to the starting point along "Strada de Meida".
