Pozza - Soraga - Pociace - Pozza

Route that climbs the wooded western slope of the Valacia until reaching the beautiful panoramic plateau of Pociace with the characteristic forest bivouac.

From the center of Pozza follow the cycle-pedestrian path southwards. Upon reaching the entrance of Soraga, behind the Hotel La Molinella, take the forest road on the right which immediately climbs steeply through the woods. At the fork, keep left. Pass the locality of Fontana, where you intersect trail no. 639. You gain further altitude, alternating dense woods with wide clearings offering some panoramic views of the valley. A long climb leads to Pian dei Pantofoi, where trail marker no. 616 emerges, which you follow until the fork of Pere Bience de Sora. Reaching the hairpin, the southernmost point of the route, ignore the right branch (Moena > Bait dal vent > Pesmeda). Now the route definitely changes direction, heading north and, following the dirt road uphill, crosses a ravine. With manageable slopes, cover the last uphill elevation before descending in view of the Pociace plateau, where the homonymous forest bivouac is located. Remount your bike and follow trail marker no. 636/A through the woods. Continue on the forest road to the locality of Sot Ciastel. A little further ahead, take the trail on the right (steep in some sections) to connect to the forest road descending towards Malga/Masc Aloch. Just above the farm, turn right and take the route that cuts across the Aloch ski slope until you reach the locality of Vidor. Via Strada de Meida you return to the starting point.
