<p>The Piz Boè, the only three-thousand meter peak of the Sella Group, is one of the most frequented summits of the Dolomites. Accessible from all four ridges converging on the summit of the beautiful pyramid, the alpine trail no. 638 runs along the ridges overlooking the Mesules Plateau. </p>
<p>From Passo Pordoi take the cable car to Sass Pordoi (2,948 m), descending on trail no. 627/A to the nearby Forcella Pordoi. Then continue on trail no. 627, entering the inner cirque. Leave trail no. 627 for trail no. 638 which leads to the base of the Piz Boè pyramid. Climb the south side consisting of ledges and detritus shelves, equipped with a steel cable to assist the climb, reaching the summit at the Rifugio Capanna Piz Fassa. After a mandatory stop to admire the extraordinary circular panorama, descend the northwest side through debris and reddish sands, beyond which you overcome, crossing a ledge equipped with a metal cable and ladders, a rock jump to reach Rifugio Boè. Return to Forcella Pordoi on trail no. 627, crossing on the flat the wide steps that form the base of Piz Boè. Return to the cable car station climbing trail no. 627/A that winds along the rock formations up to Sass Pordoi.</p>
