Moena - Passo Costalunga - Soraga - Moena

The route, which develops almost entirely on forest roads through the woods, reaches Passo Costalunga. For the return, pass through the charming and panoramic village of Tamion, then descend towards Larcioné and Soraga.

Leave the town of Moena along Strada di Molign, crossing a first bridge over the Rif de Costalongia. Follow the stream, pass a furnished area with tables and benches (Pala da Rif), cross the river again and continue on an ancient paved road. Then turn right and cross a wide erosion area on a somewhat uneven sandy path (Terre Rosse). Skirting the upper part of a deep ditch carved by the stream, climb easily until the route smooths out for a long stretch. Cross a wooden footbridge to finally join the forest road to Passo Carezza/Costalunga. Climb the slope to the junction (from the left comes the path that climbs from Malga Panna and Sorte). On a now easier path, exit the woods and skirt a large pasture area. Proceed on the flat, descending diagonally and crossing the Rif de Peniola, following its course upstream. Continue keeping right on a beautiful white gravel road that climbs, with wide and comfortable curves, for a long stretch. Halfway up a steep climb, you intersect the road coming from Costa Bergousa/Tamion. Then move to the right and continue pedaling following the forest road (sign no. 556) that, with gentle climbs, long flat stretches, and some hairpin bends, leads to the Costa Bergousa clearing. Proceed with continuous ups and downs until the town of Tamion. Near the Hotel Gran Mugon, take the dirt road towards Vigo up to the junction, on the right, for Larcioné. The dirt road runs through meadows and ends near the roundabout on the state road. Cross it, go beyond the stream, and take Strada da Molin until you reach the cycle-pedestrian path that brings you back to Moena.
