From the Redebus Pass to Malga Stramaiolo
A hiking route to the main malga of the Altopiano di Pinè, along the Lagorai chain, between pastures and woods
Malga Stramaiolo is located at an altitude of 1600 metres, on the Altopiano di Pinè (Pinè Plateau), in the municipality of Bedollo, just 15 minutes' drive from Baselga di Pinè. <p>It is one of the few malgas still grazed in the alpine pastures with strictly 'alpine grey' dairy cows, where you can have a taste of many locally produced products, including excellent cheeses and milk derivatives. The malga is surrounded by wide meadows where the cows graze, and provides a grat location to admire the beautiful alpine flowers.</p>
