Falcade - San Pellegrino Bike Trail
It is one of the longest loops of the San Pellegrino Bike Trail, allowing you to pedal from the pass, on a shared route with hikers, all the way to Falcade.

You pedal on a mixed-use route, also frequented by hikers, so it is recommended to moderate your speed. Starting from the pass, for the first km, follow the state road to the fork for Fuciade/Valfredda. Take the paved road on the left to Rifugio Flora Alpina. From here, continue through the woods, following the mule track (CAI trail no. 694 - Campo Podin) which after 4 km arrives at the panoramic village of Somor (Falcade Alto). At the edge of the built-up area, take the trail again which, halfway up the slope, leads to the Le Coste hamlet. Enter the southern part of Falcade and then head in the opposite direction, following the easy walk that skirts the village plain. Once you reach the Molino area, take the lifts. From the top station of the chairlift starts the section (4 km) that, with a constant slope, climbs to Col Margherita. Return by cable car.

The San Pellegrino Bike Trail is easily reached by lifts from Passo San Pellegrino (Col Margherita) or Falcade. Access requires purchase of the appropriate bike pass or the Dolomiti Supersummer card, valid in several areas. If it is your first time in the valley, we recommend relying on a bike guide.
