Campitello - Val Duron

<p>From Campitello to Val Duron, passing through the characteristic village of Pian. It is one of the most spectacular valleys of Fassa, nestled between the Catinaccio Group, Sassolungo, and Sassopiatto.</p>

<p>From Piaz de Ciampedel, continue on Strèda dò Ruf. At the intersection with Strèda Sènc Filip and Giacum, turn right and pass under the church. Continue climbing along the paved road (Strèda de Col and Strèda de Pian) up to the village of Pian. Cross the picturesque village, joining the road that becomes dirt from Fossèl. Proceed towards Val Duron. Cross the Pian da Molin bridge to meet the road coming up from Campitello. Reach the locality of Fraines and then, with a significant climb, the Rifugio Micheluzzi which marks the end of the most demanding section. Once out of the forest, the valley opens up. The route becomes flat and pleasantly goes through the meadows. Pass the Baita Lino Brach and continue pedaling approaching the natural amphitheater that closes the valley upstream, at the base of the Molignon walls. Ignore the junctions with paths no. 578 and 555. From here the track begins to rise. Pass the Malga Dò Col d'Aura to reach, along the high and rolling pastures, the Passo Duron, where the view opens onto the Alpe di Siusi. Recommended return along the same route.</p>
