Campitello - Val Duron

<p>From Campitello to Val Duron, passing through the peculiar hamlet of "Pian". It’s one of the most spectacular valleys in Fassa, embedded among Rosengarten group, Sassolungo, and Sassopiatto.</p>

<p>From "Piaz de Ciampedel" square, continue along "Strèda dò Ruf". At the crossroads with "Strèda Sènc Filip and Giacum", turn right and pass below the church. Proceed uphill along the paved road ("Strèda de Col and Strèda de Pian") up to the settlement of "Pian". Cross this picturesque hamlet, then filter in the street that from "Fossèl" becomes a dirt road. Continue towards Val Duron. Cross "Pian da Molin’s" bridge to come across the road that ascends from Campitello. Reach "Fraines" area and then, with a major climb, Micheluzzi hut, which marks the end of the most challenging stretch. Once left the forest behind, the valley opens up. The route becomes flatter and winds through the meadows. Go past Baita Lino Brach hut and continue pedalling towards the natural amphitheatre that closes the valley upstream, at the base of "Molignon" walls. Ignore the junctions to paths no. 578 and no. 555. From here, the track gets steeper. Get past Malga Dò Col d'Aura to reach, through high and wavy pastures, Duron Pass, where the view widens on Siusi Alp. Recommended return along the same route.</p>
