835 - Monte Maggio climb

<p>Among the many routes of Alpe Cimbra, it is certainly one of the most beautiful, panoramic, and thrilling! However, keep in mind that it is not a walk; we are riding on exposed trails, beneath which there are cliffs and steep slopes. It is therefore suitable for those who can handle the bike well. <p>It is said that on clear days, especially after a night thunderstorm, you can see the Venice lagoon from the summit of Monte Maggio. Don't believe it? Of course, you need to be lucky to catch the right day, but when it happens, you can really see the sun's reflection on the lagoon! Monte Maggio, Italy's peak in Lower Trentino. A hundred years ago the Austro-Italian border ran here. The large cross and the trenches remind us. What a view from this height! The return route on our MTB, through a beautiful forest environment, takes us among the pastures of Malga Melegna, brushing past Lake Coe (a refreshing stop at Hangar Bar), and then up to the pass.
