833 - Cornetto Climb
<p>When we say climbing mountains! This is really a nice climb that puts our physical fitness and leg strength to the test. However, it also offers us a nice and fun descent to the valley!</p>
<p>From Folgaria, firmly seated, we take on the wooded south side of Monte Cornetto and via centuries-old forest trails we ascend steadily to an altitude of 1600 m. Hard work? Certainly, but it's worth it, the panorama from this point is magnificent, one of the widest in Trentino, capturing the mountains overlooking Lake Garda! And then, as you know, after the climb comes the descent. And it's real fun to take the long dirt road that leads down to 1340 m, at Passo Sommo. We take up the MTB again, but now it's just fun. Passing the ancient Maso Spilzi, the golf course, and the Ecken biotope, we finally return to Folgaria. Wasn't that a wonderful climb?</p>
