The sounds of the woods, the scent of hay in the meadows, and the faraway roar of the Vallesinella waterfall provide the perfect frame for the mental images created by ardeTrio’s music. A one-of-a-kind project that skilfully enhances the passion of Argentine tango with the balanced classical precision of the viola and violin. ardeTrio is the result of an encounter between Danusha Waskiewicz, violinist Markus Daunert and leading bandoneon player Omar Massa. The combination of the violin, viola and bandoneon are what make this trio truly unique.
Thanks to arrangements carefully crafted by Omar Massa, the melodies played by this trio manifest a high-quality and deeply personal form of Argentinian tango. This particular sound is evident in the trio’s first album Tango Concertante Vol 1. The album did not go unnoticed. It was a watershed moment in terms of honouring musicians from many musical traditions, and demonstrates remarkable open-mindedness. While Massa is considered a leading bandoneon player and the frontman for Tango Nuevo in Argentina, Daunert and Waskiewicz are soloists, section principals and founders of internationally renowned orchestras.

by shuttle (for a charge) or by car during the hours when this is permitted (info: www.pnab.it) to reach the Vallesinella mountain hut, before continuing along the Cascate Alte trail
