Radiodervish

The first event of the festival takes place in a unique, outdoor amphitheatre which, when combined with the atmospheric, mystical music of Franco Battiato, performed by Radiodervish, will make you feel as though you have crossed into an enchanted valley.

A journey into the inner world of a man who, in searching for himself, finds unity with the whole. Val Nana is a natural gem set in the Adamello Brenta Park, a relic of long-ago geological eras. Here, Radiodervish will evoke the colours, soundscapes and mystical depths of Franco Battiato.  This Apulian band has proved to be one of the most successful Italian world music groups. Boasting a long and active career, it started in 1997 and has involved many other prestigious Italian and international collaborations, with songs that testify to encounters within and between cultures.

Radiodervish is Nabil Salameh (vocals and bouzouki), Michele Lobaccaro (vocals, bass, guitars and keyboard), Alessandro Pipino (keyboard and accordion) and Pippo Ark D’Ambrosio (percussion).

How to get there
by car from Cles to the Malga Culmei car park, then on foot, following the directions for the festival

To protect this especially fragile and sensitive environment, we recommend that each vehicle entering the Malga Culmei car park carry a full load of passengers
