Nihon no Ehon (Japan in picture books)

Nihon no Ehon [Japan in picture books] also arrives in Trento, after stopping off at Sàrmede, Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Muji in Milan and MAO, the Museum of Oriental Art in Turin.
It offers a unique opportunity to come into contact with Japanese picture books, thanks to a selection of illustrated books for children published in the last five years and that can be “read” simply by looking at the pictures.
Organised by the Japanese Embassy in Italy and the Japanese Board on Books for Young People (JBBY), on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Japan.
