Experience Christmas in a magical place, illuminated by fire, heated by food and wine, accompanied by the rhythm of words and music. Castellum Ava has hidden paths, enigma to be solved, histories and legends to tell, an atmosphere to discover.
Sometimes, there are magic places we see looking out from a train or car window. Between Trento and Verona, the gaze is captured by Avio Castle.
From November the 25th to the 17th December, the Christmas market within the walls of the FAI – Avio Castle is back! Four weekends and an special opening on december the 8th to enjoy the flavours and traditions of Christmas in Trentino and beyond: more than 25 exhibitors from the world of food and wine and local handicrafts from Vallagarina and the upper Veronese area will enliven the Baronial Palace and its large courtyard with an evocative market.
Stories and legends, poetry for lovers, travel histories, courage histories for heroes. Those enchantments will be explained with the rhythm of words, music and games.
Christmas at the Avio Castle is linked to “Christmas in the Baroque Palaces“: a Christmas market hosted in the historical palaces of the nearby municipality of Ala, along a magical route through the streets of one of the best preserved historical centres in Trentino.
A special shuttle bus will allow visitors to explore the Christmas event in the Municipality of Ala.
