Nomi, a small village of great wonders
From the 29th of November to the 6th of January, experience the Nativity as never before with the spectacular nativity scenes in the small hamlet of Nomi.
Yet again this year, Nomi turns into the town of monumental nativity scenes housed in the local streets and parks. Along the streets, amidst ancient gates, stone thresholds and windows with iron grilles, you will be able to admire numerous representations of the Nativity created in the most varied forms of expression, which the lights at dusk cover with an unforgettable charm.
It is also worth visting the memorable granary in the city-centre, which this year hosts 5 beautiful nativity scenes.
Programme
- From Saturday, 29th of November 2025 – Piazza di Nomi | Casetta del Brulè organized by the Pro Loco of Nomi, a warm place to enjoy hot drinks and snacks while sharing the festive Christmas atmosphere. Open every weekend, Monday 8th, Wednesday 24th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st of December, and Tuesday 6th of January.
- From Sunday, 7th of December 2025 to Tuesday, 6th of January 2026 – Granaio di Nomi | Exhibition of monumental nativity scenes. Opening ceremony on Sunday, 7th of December at 5:00 p.m.
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday 7th of December at 6:00 PM, Granaio di Nomi | Concert of the Coro Genzianella.
- Friday 12th of December at 7:00 PM, through the streets of the village, ending at Piazza Springa | Santa Lucia Arrives! Santa Lucia, accompanied by a donkey and shepherds, meets the children. Upon arrival, tea and mulled wine will be served. Organized by US Nomi and Alpini di Nomi.
- Tuesday 16th of December at 5:30 PM, Piazza Springa | Christmas Party with the children of Romani De Moll Kindergarten.
- Wednesday 17th of December at 7:00 PM, Piazza Springa | Ready for the Holidays. Christmas evening with food and music, organized by Associazione La Contea.
- Thursday 18th of December at 5:00 PM | Christmas Show with the children of L. Vicentini Primary School. The Zampognaro Lagaro plays Christmas music and accompanies the children to La Casetta del Natale in Piazza Springa.
- Friday 19th of December at 4:30 PM, Granaio di Nomi | Truffaldino and the Spirit of Christmas, puppet show by puppeteer Luciano Gottardi.
- Saturday 20th of December at 6:00 PM, La Casetta del Natale, Piazza Springa | Musical Aperitif. Enjoy a mulled wine in company with music by Blue River! Organized by Pro Loco di Nomi.
- Wednesday 24th of December, Church of Madonna della Consolazione | Christmas Mass accompanied by the parish choir. Afterwards, a Christmas evening for exchanging greetings, mulled wine, polenta conza, and music organized by Associazione La Contea.
- Tuesday 6th of January at 2:30 PM, Piazza Springa, Parish Church Bell Tower of Madonna della Consolazione | The Befana Arrives! Befana comes down from the bell tower distributing sweets to all children. Organized by the Volunteer Firefighters of Nomi and US Nomi.
- Tuesday 6th of January at 4:00 PM, Sala della Vigna | Christmas Cinema for children and adults.
