N-Ice Cello - Giovanni Sollima Tour
An extraordinary concert to reflect on the future of the environment and humanity
A unique event: a tour across Italy, from Trento to Venice, Rome and Palermo: cellist and composer Giovanni Sollima will play an incredible cello made of ice in world premiere at the Muse.
The music performance by Giovanni Sollima will take turns with Corrado Bungaro presenting the event with Tim Linhart - the latter is the luthier-sculptor who has created the ice cello -, and with scientific insights by Michele Lanzinger, director of the MUSE, and his researchers, Christian Casarotto and Valeria Lencioni.
An extraordinary concert to reflect on the future of the environment and humanity, on fragile water resources in relation to climate change.
The concert will take place in the lobby of the MUSE with the heating off (with a temperature around 15 °), according to the principle “Mi riscaldo di meno” ("I'll heat up less") - a campaign to raise awareness on energy consumption.
We advise all guests to wear warm clothing.
