Two pianos for two brothers united by a passion for the same instrument and by an exceptional talent. Lucas and Arthur Jussen, just over half a century between them, belong to a new generation of artists who stand out for their unimpeachable musical gifts but also for their freshness and friendliness.
Pupils of, among others, Maria João Pires, they have won international prizes and competitions, are Steinway Artists, and have been recording exclusively for Deutsche Grammophon since 2010. In 2015 Gramophone listed their album featuring Mozart's Double Concerto KV 365 as one of the 50 best Mozart recordings, alongside those by Alfred Brendel, Murray Perahia, Emil Gilels or Martha Argerich.
They are performing in Trento for the first time, offering a special program for two pianos and four hands on the Philharmonic's Steinway Grancoda keyboards.
