Snowshoeing excursion and race - with an all-comers version too
La Ciaspolada is Europe's major snow-shoeing event, traditionally held around the time of Epiphany, the 6th of January. It attracts snow-shoe fans and amateur enthusiasts so at least 6,000 participants and spectators take part.
The professional competition goes hand in hand with a non-competitive 'all-comers' version. The route covers around 7-8 kms of snowy scenery in the Val di Non, and crosses charming hamlets en route to Fondo.
