31st edition of Rovereto Cinematographic Festival

Six days dedicated to the International Festival of Archaeological Cinema, the cinematographic Festival that brings to Rovereto the best of the national and international documentary production for the 31st edition. The Festival, organized by the City Museum Foundation of Rovereto, moves archaeology from the museum rooms and the faraway sites to the great public through new movies, with the purpose of sensitizing the public opinion on the main themes of safeguard and enhancement of the world heritage. The program stretches in the cultures of the 5 continents, including reflections about the role and the function of the museums and of the new technologies in cultural field. Important relators, documentarists, representatives of the countries whose patrimony is presented in the films or conferences, will take part to the festival. The movies compete for the City of Rovereto Prize (Premio Città di Rovereto), assigned by the public, CinemAMoRe Prize assigned by Trento Film Festival and Religion Today Filmfestival and Archeoblogger, a special mention assigned by renowned Italian Archeology bloggers.
