Fifteen photographs taken away from the more well-known Japanese urban environments and depicting rural and mountainous Japan. Tradition and nature, fundamental elements in Japanese culture, are mixed, instilling a sense of wonder and magic in the spectator.
Immortalised in these photos, houses and sanctuaries seem to elude the passing of time, partially hidden by the fronds of a maple tree or flowering cherry branch.
