Feast of Saint Lucia and the light sculptures
At nightfall, in the magical atmosphere of the light sculptures, illuminating the picturesque corners of the small mountain village of Tressilla, let yourself be transported back to the ancient legend of Santa Lucia... Walk through vaulted cellars and tiny alleys, taste the typical dishes, listen to the sound of bagpipes, experience a fairy world ... go back to your childhood ...
On December 13, Tressilla re-experiences the traditional celebration of Santa Lucia, patron saint of the small village.
According to the legend, on the night between December 12 and 13, Santa Lucia brings small gifts to well-behaved children.
On this occasion, Tressilla turns into a magical village. In the afternoon, children and families gather for the traditional "Strozega", the parade of Santa Lucia, leading her donkey through the streets to the "Casa Frazionale". Here you can taste local products and visit a craft market with local artifacts.
At sunset, Tressilla is illuminated by light sculptures and local specialties can be tasted in the picturesque vaulted cellars. Along the streets, music and poetry readings in the characteristic corners of the village contribute to bringing the magical Christmas atmosphere to life.
