Brenta Open 2024
Ten years of mountains that unite
Brenta Open is the event that celebrates inclusion. It takes place in the Brenta Dolomites, since 2015: we climb the iconic peaks of our mountains together and once we reach the summit, music, echoing from peak to peak, celebrates a special moment.
Access to the mountains, regardless of skill level and psychophysical state, is an exceptional achievement. A community asset such as the Dolomites, recognised as such by Unesco in 2009, only truly belongs to humanity if it becomes accessible to all.
The Via delle Normali is a traverse of the Brenta Dolomites group from south to north, climbing all the main peaks: 9 peaks above or around 3,000 m, 9 days of traverse with overnight stays in mountain huts and bivouacs, 40 km of traverse along paths, walls, via ferrata.
The Programme
The Brenta Open team consisting of mountain guides, people with disabilities, and musicians moves along the Via delle Normali mountaineering traverse, climbs a peak each day, and returns to an alpine hut each evening.
