Welcome to Col Margherita, a porphyry board at an altitude of 2,513 metres, which connects, in winter, the San Pellegrino Pass to Falcade.

The terrace overlooking the Alpine pass can be easily reached by cable car, but only in summer, for the fittest, even on foot. The northern slope is steep and steep, while the southern slope slopes gently towards Passo Valles. The scene of bloody battles during the First World War due to its strategic position, the Col Margherita is one of the most evocative viewpoints in the valley. The mountains that you can admire from above are dizzying: in front, the Creste di Costabella, Cima Uomo, Marmolada; further to the right, the Cime d 'Auta, Sorapiss, Pelmo, Civetta, Moiazza, Cima del Focobon and Mulaz; behind, instead, stand the spectacular Pale di San Martino and, to the southwest, the long Lagorai chain. To better orient yourself in front of such a spectacle, along the path that climbs to Cima Juribrutto, two observation balconies have been created with illustrative panels.
