Franco Nones

Franco Nones

Born in Molina di Fiemme, he is an international Olympic Winter Games legend! The father of Nordic skiing in Trentino, he was the first Italian to become an Olympic cross-country skiing champion in the 30 km event in Grenoble in 1968. Prior to his victory, the podium had always gone to Scandinavian or Russian athletes.

Giorgio Vanzetta

Giorgio Vanzetta

A cross-country skier from Val di Fiemme, he competed in five Olympic Winter Games between 1980 and 1994. He is best remembered for being the third leg of the memorable 4×10 km relay team that won the gold medal in Lillehammer, beating Norway and the host country in a sprint finish.

Giacomo Bertagnolli

Born and raised in Cavalese in Val di Fiemme he has been visually impaired since birth. Paralympic gold medallist in Beijing 2022 and winner of eight world titles. His wish is for huge Paralympic audiences, because there are athletes who have incredible stories to tell. Athletes who, when competing, transmit intense emotions to all lovers of life and sport!

Cristian Zorzi

Cristian Zorzi

Nicknamed 'Zorro', originally from Cavalese, and a cross-country skier in the 15 km sprint relay. Gold at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, silver in the 4 x 10 km relay and bronze in the 1.5 km sprint at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Amos Mosaner

Amos Mosaner

Amos Mosaner is an Italian curler from Cembra. Raised in a curling family, guided in his early stages by his father Adolfo, he won gold in the mixed doubles in Beijing 2022, a world bronze and three European bronzes.

Matteo Anesi

Having grown up on the Baselga di Piné Ice Rink, he is a speed skating champion. He won Olympic gold in the team pursuit in Turin in 2006 at just 21 years of age in a packed Piazza San Carlo, and silver in 2005 and 2008 at the world championships in Inzell and Nagano.

Ruggero Tita

This Trentino sailor from Civezzano, who specialises in the Nacra 17 class, won Olympic gold in Tokyo 2020 alongside Caterina Banti, securing a historic victory for Italian sailing. In addition to his Olympic successes, he boasts world and European titles that confirm him as one of the best sailors in the world.
