A magnificent, multi-faceted playground

If it can be done on two wheels, it can be done in Trentino

There are so many ways to enjoy the mountains on a bike. You can potter along forest trails, plunge down purpose-built freeride parks, and test your stamina against multi-day treks. And let’s not forget the flat valley floors: the perfect setting for easy-pedalling cycle paths.

Here in Trentino, we offer all these experiences and more – backed up by support services such as luggage transfers, overnight storage and bike-wash facilities. Book one of our mountain packages and you can even get a complete holiday for a single all-inclusive price; covering bike hire, accommodation, baggage transfer and maps.

You want a long-distance adventure? Then how about one of our four big MTB treks – Dolomiti di Brenta Bike, Mountain & Garda Bike, the Dolomiti Lagorai Grand Tour, and the 100km dei Forti? Each is mapped and waymarked, and served by stunning mountain refuges, hotels and B&Bs. The biggest will take a week of pedalling: but you can tackle them piecemeal, too.

Or how about some freeriding? You probably know already that the Downhill and 4x World Championships are coming to Trentino this year - testament to both the quality of our terrain, and the excellence of our downhill parks. But we don’t just cater for armour-clad adrenaline junkies. Many of our parks have lines designed for beginners and children.

If you’re looking for Tarmac rather than single-track, you’ll find plenty of that, too. Serious road cyclists can test their mettle against famous hill climbs of the Giro d’Italia, and the UCI cycling World Cup. Meanwhile, those who simply want a bit of freewheeling fun should check out our cycle paths, and ebike hire centres. After all, you don’t have to have legs like tree trunks to enjoy a day whizzing about on two wheels.
