Skiing at night time is truly a magic experience: after sunset, when all is silent, the landscape turns into a glittering fairy-tale world, the slopes instil a feeling of serenity that is hard to find anywhere else.
There are many ski areas in Trentino where you can ski, sled or snow-tube at night, with perfectly lit slopes until late! These are our highlights of “out of hours” skiing in Trentino!
In Val di Fiemme you can ski under the shining stars on the Olimpia 3 slope, o Alpe Cermis, and the Obereggen slope- Ski Center Latemar. Night skiing starts from 19:00 to 22:30, and after dining in a mountain hut you can make your way back on your skis!
Ski Area Paganella feautures 3 Km fully lit run, ideal for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, looking for endless fun on the snow under the moonlight
In the Val di Fassa Ski Stadium, in the centre of Pozza di Fassa, you can ski at night along the Aloch Piste. The piste, which is used to train the Italian Alpine Skiing team as well as other teams, is open at night on Wednesday and Friday from 19.30 hrs to 22.00 hrs.
Book your night skiing session on the slope "Canalone Miramonti”, available through reservations. This track, snow theatre of the World Cup, every Tuesday in February, could be your playground for a night. Experience the thrill of tackling the different gradients of this legendary run.
In the ski-area of Madonna di Campiglio in the Brenta Dolomites, you are invited to night skiing every Thursday from 21:00 to 23:00 on the Biancaneve slope above Marilleva. It’s also possible to night ski in Tonale and Pejo.
In Bondone, the slopes - Diagonale, Montesel, Cordela, Lavaman and the Snowpark area- are lit up and open for night skiing every Tuesday and Thursday from 20:00 to 22:30.
The Colverde slope is a beautiful red run, 2,600 metres long with a vertical drop of 500m. Optimally lit for night skiing, the track winds through evocative scenery of pine and larch trees, with varying gradients, ending directly in the centre of San Martino: this is definitely the ideal run for night skiing.
On Wednesdays and Friday evenings the lifts are open from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm, offering everyone the opportunity to enjoy night skiing. The Heidi and Paradiso Chalets are open to taste a pizza or a snack with friends at the bottom of the slope!
