The millenary history of the mines ended in the 60s of the last century and the only cultivation activities still active in the area of the future geopark are now those related to quarries for the extraction of the Lastrified Trentino Porphyry and for a small part to those dedicated to the extraction of ornamental stones of a carbonate nature.
