Museo della scuola

The Museum of the School was founded in Pergine Valsugana in 1997 thanks to the interest of a group of teachers from the Don Milani Elementary School for the objects that the history of the school has left us and that represent an asset of high cultural value.

The copious material collected gave rise to a permanent exhibition set up in the atrium of the "Don Milani" school, open to the public on 31 May 1997. However, the exhibition space soon revealed its precariousness and inadequacy. The commission thus became an autonomous association, with its own statute and independent budget, composed of passionate volunteers with the declared purpose of creating a real museum of the school, with its own and independent headquarters.

Since summer 2013 it has been based in the basement of the new Teatro Comunale
