Casa Alcide De Gasperi Museum
This little museum, which opened in 2006 in the house where the statesman was born, serves to preserve his memory and share his experiences, values and message
The experiences, values and message of the Christian Democratic statesman are handed down from one generation to the next. The Casa Alcide De Gasperi Museum is like a time capsule preserving the links between Valsugana and Tesino and the life’s work of De Gasperi. Sounds, images, contemporary material and modern sensory and multi-media installations all tell a story that transcends one man’s life to become interwoven with those of Trentino, Italy, and European politics. Complete your visit with a short walk to Giardino d’Europa. This garden, with its distinctive amphitheatre shape resembling that of the European Parliament is considered a site with great symbolism for the EU.
