Panoramic route straddling Trentino and South Tyrol. You cycle in the presence of Catinaccio, Sciliar, Sassopiatto, Sassolungo, and Sella, quickly facing the passes Costalunga, Nigra, Pinei, and Sella in succession.
Starting from Vigo and traveling on state road no. 241 (S.S. 241), in just over 9 km (of which 6.5 km without flat sections), you reach Passo Costalunga/Carezza (average gradient 4.4% with maximum peaks of 10%). You climb over the pass and, at the fork, turn right towards Passo Nigra. You cycle easily on a wide, panoramic, and almost flat road until you reach the Carezza lift stations. You descend to the villages of Tires and Fiè allo Sciliar, then climb towards Castelrotto and Passo Pinei. The descent to Ortisei is short (3.5 km). You cross all of Val Gardena. After passing through Selva (1,563 m) and Plan de Gralba (1,800 m), the climb to Passo Sella begins, several times the Cima Coppi of the Giro d'Italia: 9.5 km, average gradient 6.8% with sections up to 11%. You face 12 km of descent with an average gradient of 6.9% and peaks of 13% before arriving at Canazei. Return to Vigo along state road no. 48 (S.S. 48).
