Giro d'Italia climbs - Passo Fedaia
For enthusiasts, the ascent to Passo Fedaia from Canazei is the less demanding variant compared to the Venetian side, coming from Malga Ciapela.

From the center of Fassa, follow state road no. 641 (S.S. 641) which in 17 km leads to the Dolomite pass (average gradient 4.5%), with a spectacular view of the Marmolada. After leaving behind Penìa, the last village of the valley, the real climb begins with steady gradients that steepen in the final stretch, reaching nearly 11% for a couple of kilometers. Before reaching the Fedaia Dam at 2,054 m, you pass through a series of avalanches protection tunnels, naturally lit except for the last tunnel, illuminated by floodlights.

Return along the same route or possibility to continue towards Malga Ciapela > Rocca Pietore.
