Monte Bondone - the Trento Alp – offers trekking paths, mountain biking trails,in wintera fully equipped Ski Area, which you can get to from the city with the ski bus, and the Viote cross-country skiing area with more than 35km of trails.
Going beyond Monte Bondone you will come to the intriguing landscape of Valle dei Laghi, dotted with romantic castles, characteristic villages and several lakes. The Vino Santo passito wine is produced here together with grappas, distillates and other typical products.
North of Trento several towns wind through Valle dell'Adige one after the other, right up until the extensive vineyards of Piana Rotaliana. The production of fine wines and Trentodoc sparkling wines takes place in small quality wineries, orin large cooperative wineries, many of which can be visited.
