Mezzana Municipal Sports Centre

It stands on an area of about 26,800 m², next to the town and guarantees non-stop activities all year round. For the summer season it provides 2 outdoor synthetic resin tennis courts with a 200-seat grandstand; 3 bowling greens, one handball/five-a-side football pitch and a football stadium connected by a footbridge to the Sports Stadium - changing rooms and showers provided. It features a natural and soft pitch - 105 m x 60 m - a 1000-seat grandstand and night-time lighting. For the winter season the Centre offers a natural skating-rink and a cross-country ski-school centre with a 7.5 km long trail. The Sports Stadium is the hub of the entire sports centre and hosts a gym, a basketball pitch, a volleyball pitch, a handball field, a five-a-side football pitch, an indoor tennis court and 150 seats. An area where shows, conferences and banquets can be organized for about 1,000 people is also available. The Stadium also offers useful facilities for outdoor sports, such as changing rooms with showers, equipment rental, bar and a parking area.
