Snowy and fun winter holidays for teenagers and the whole family
An alternative winter holiday at the most popular destinations, with centres equipped for teenagers and families with children. A vast array of opportunities for ski mountaineering and snowshoeing excursions.
When it comes to Alpine skiing, the skiing area offers two modern and well-equipped centres: Panarotta 2002, near the spas of Levico and Vetriolo - which offers 18km of secure slopes with guaranteed snow, made accessbile by 4 lift installations, a snow playground and the new moving walkway with school camp and sledging slope - and the Lagorai cable cars at Passo Brocon-Marande, above the Tesino valley - which boasts 15km of recently refurbished trails, 4 lift installations, the "Playground Lagorai" snowpark and the Skilandia playground with a moving walkway to make climbing back up the slope as easy as possible.
Three of the slopes and the snowpark are lighted so that you can even ski in the evenings. In both centres you will also find sledging slopes, sports equipment hire, skibus service and the ski instructors of the Scuola Italiana Sci of Panarotta 2002 and Lagorai.
The cross-country skiers can choose from: the 7km long slope Sette Casare in Passo Brocon; the Great North setting of the Vezzena plateau - two circuits of 12km at passo Vezzena and the long trails connecting with the Centro fondo Millegrobbe (12km) and that of Campolongo (21km); the 11km of slopes in Val di Sella, near Borgo Valsugana and a stone’s throw away from Cima Dodici; the trails on the Altopiano della Marcesina. All the trails are specially prepared for the free technique and there are also parking areas and equipment hire.
In Valsugana and Lagorai you can also practise other winter sports like snowshoe excursions and ski mountaineering in stunning, wild yet secure settings that are well served by mountain huts and restaurants.
