Val di Fassa skiing resort in the Italian Alps
Magnificent panoramas, cutting-edge installations and over 210 km of slopes
An expanse with 7 skiing areas, 83 lift installations, 152 slopes and artificially induced snow to ensure complete coverage. Over 210 km of slopes connect Val di Fassa to the other ski areas around the Sella Mountain Group and the 1200 km of the Superski Dolomites.
The fantastic vistas of the most famous Dolomite summits make Val di Fassa an unforgettable destination. Three skipasses will allow you to ski anywhere you desire: the Val di Fassa/Carezza skipass is valid on all the lift installations from Canazei to Passo di Costalunga, the Alpe Lusia/San Pellegrino skipass is valid in the areas of Moena, Alpe Lusia-Bellamonte, San Pellegrino-Falcade, and the Silver skipass is valid in the four different ski areas (Val di Fassa-Carezza, Val di Fiemme-Obereggen, Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrino e Ski Area San Martino di Castrozza-Passo Rolle) and allows you to move between them using just the one card at special price for 5 or 6 days.
If you want to spend the whole day skiing, Val di Fassa offers leggendary skitours like the Sellaronda, the Panorama skitour, the Giro della Grande Guerra (Great War skitour) or the Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrino skitour. You can also ski at night thanks to the illuminated slopes.
There are plenty of trails for Nordic skiing on the valley floor along the Marcialonga track, or at an altitude, with over 45 km of well kept slopes. If you like snowboarding you will have 6 snowparks at your disposal so you can be out on the snow to your heart’s content.
Families with kids can benefit from childcare services, school camps, well-equipped snow playgrounds and ski schools with specialised instructors.
In addition to sport, winter holidays in Val di Fassa allow you to relax on the sunbathing terraces in the mountain huts or lodges, taste the local specialties, discover the Ladin culture, enjoy swimming pools and beauty treatments in the hotel and public wellness centres.
