Val di Sole is one of the largest and most diverse ski destinations in western Trentino, thanks to its three ski areas: Madonna di Campiglio (Folgarida-Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo), Peio3000, and PontediLegno-Tonale. Here, skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts can find slopes suitable for all levels, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and state-of-the-art lifts.
The Madonna di Campiglio Ski Area, located in the Brenta Dolomites, connects Folgarida-Marilleva with Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, offering 150 km of slopes. The PontediLegno-Tonale ski area allows you to ski on the Presena Glacier, up to 3,000 meters, ensuring high-quality snow for many months of the year across 100 km of runs. Finally, the Peio3000 Ski Area, nestled within the Stelvio National Park, combines unspoiled nature with trails for all skill levels: the modern Pejo 3000 cable car takes you directly into the heart of the Ortles-Cevedale range, offering unique experiences among the mountains. Explore all the ski areas with a single ski pass by purchasing the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta.
In addition to alpine skiing, the valley is an ideal destination for many other snow activities, featuring 55 km of cross-country skiing trails, as well as routes for ski mountaineering and snowshoeing in the Pejo and Rabbi valleys. To make your vacation easier, more sustainable, and more comfortable, during the winter months there is a free ski bus connecting the villages to the ski lifts, along with the Dolomiti Express train + ski service, linking Trento to Mezzana with main stops in Daolasa and Marilleva 900.
