To be found in the widest part of the valley at the point at which Avisio river and San Nicolò creek, Pozza di Fassa’s residential area is crowned by the Cima Undici and the Cima Dodici peaks. The municipality of Pozza di Fassa contains Pera, which is the village that gave birth to the famous mountain climber Tita Piaz (The Devil of the Dolomites).
