The 2031 UCI Super World Championships in Trentino

In 2031, the Cycling Super World Championships will take place in Trentino. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) announced the result of the vote during the annual congress in Kigali, Rwanda, in September 2025, awarding the event to Trentino. The edition taking place in Trentino six years from now will be “super” because, over the two-week event, all major cycling disciplines will be brought together: road (road race and time trial), track, mountain bike (cross-country, downhill, marathon), gravel, BMX (racing, freestyle flatland, freestyle park), trials, enduro, granfondo, indoor cycling (artistic & cycle ball), cycling e-sports, pump track, and bike polo.

2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Trentino

6-22 February 2026 & 6-15 March 2026

From 6-22 February and 6-15 March 2026, Val di Fiemme in Trentino will host some of the most iconic competitions of the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.  Val di Fiemme, with its world-class cross-country skiing stadium at Lago di Tesero and ski jumping stadium at Predazzo, will be the host venue for the Nordic disciplines—cross-country skiing, Nordic combined and ski jumping—and the Paralympic cross-country skiing and biathlon events, with almost 30% of all medals awarded here.

Marcialonga in Val di Fiemme and in Val di Fassa

On 25 January 2026, Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa will once again host the legendary Marcialonga, one of the world’s most celebrated cross-country skiing events. This 70 km classic-style granfondo starts in Moena, reaches Canazei in Val di Fassa, and returns through snowy landscapes to the iconic finish in Cavalese’s Viale Mendini.

Now in its 72nd edition, the legendary 3Tre Night Slalom on the Canalone Miramonti, scheduled for Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, will once again mark the final stage of the Italian World Cup races.
