Cristo Pensante
Find time to think, find time to pray, find time to smile.
This is the invitation addressed to hikers who reach the statue of the Thinking Christ.
The itinerary is proposed as a spiritual ascent, as well as hike; once the summit is conquered, the hiker is greeted by the emblematic exhortation at the foot of the statue of the Thinking Christ. The Christ, carved from a block of white marble from Predazzo, bears a crown of thorns on his head created with barbed wire from the Great War.
The excursion, extremely rewarding from a naturalistic point of view, offers an atmosphere of meditation.
From the peak of Monte Castellazzo you can enjoy a privileged view of the grandiose walls of the Pale di San Martino and the entire valley.
