Cantina Sociale di Isera Winery
From the choice of new equipment to the systematic monitoring of the entire plant life cycle, everything is meticulously supervised and checked to ensure a healthy, high-quality harvest.
In 1907, when Trentino was still part of the Habsburg Empire, a cooperative winery was founded in and named after Isera by local winegrowers. From the very start, the Cantina d’Isera harvested prized grapes from Isera’s basalt hills, with Marzemino first and foremost among these. Today, over 150 members working an area of 200 hectares contribute around two million kilograms of select, top-quality grapes at each harvest. Under the guidance of wine experts, the advantages of new technologies and the wisdom of ancient traditions are carefully balanced.
HIGHLIGHT
Marzemino, the wine most synonymous with Vallagarina.
