Azienda Agricola Martinelli Albino
The large tasting area is the ideal setting to sample the wines — Marzemino DOC Trentino, Lagrein, Moscato, Gewurztraminer, a white PIWI and a sparkling Rosé — and grape jellies.
The history of the Martinelli family — who have tended vines along the banks of the Adige river and on the slopes of Monte Baldo in Chizzola, Trentino, since the early 1700s — goes back three centuries. The backdrop: just over six hectares of vine-covered land cared for by each generation in turn. The agricultural and wine-making decisions taken in the fields and winery have traditionally been inspired by the principles of sustainability and respect for the characteristics of these vines, which blend harmoniously into the borderland region of Vallagarina. The company’s labels celebrate the architectural style of the 19th-century winery building, while the curved line of the wine bar in weathered steel draws the visitor’s gaze towards the lush green vineyards.
HIGHLIGHT
